The Holiday Season Arrives at Ruttger's
The holiday season is officially here! We want to make your holidays unforgettable and maybe even help create some new special holiday traditions.
From outdoor activities to gift shopping and family gatherings in our Lakeside Cottages, we have you covered for a magical holiday season.
Holiday Shopping
For the first time, our retail shops will remain open all winter long. Great news for those just starting their holiday shopping!
You’ll find perfect stocking stuffers, including fun holiday-themed socks, candles, lotions, and scent diffusers. For those bigger gifts under the tree, we’re stocked with great winter gear like our popular shackets, cozy sherpa sweaters, stylish asymmetrical zip sweatshirts, and graphic shirts with festive and cheeky sayings like, “Let it Snow (somewhere else).”
We also have the perfect gift for those who look like Bambi on ice in winter. Our Henta Winter Boots have built-in ice grips and rubber traction, helping you stay on your feet! Once you get indoors out of the cold, switch to our comfy Minnetonka MN Slippers.
Of course, we also have all your favorite Bay Lake and Ruttger’s gear, so you’ll be sure to find the perfect gift for everyone on your list.
For the winter season, the retail shops have moved to the Golf Shop and have new winter hours: Thursday–Saturday, 10am to 6pm and Sunday, 10am to 4pm.
White Oak Grill
This winter you don’t have to venture into snowdrifts for a great meal.
Ruttger’s White Oak Grill, located next to Jack’s 18 golf course, offers a great atmosphere, eight tap lines of Minnesota beers, and a fantastic menu with tasty appetizers like Wings and Bull Bites, classic burgers and sandwiches, and great entrees, including Ribeye, Walleye, and Shrimp Scampi.
You don’t have to be a guest at the resort to enjoy a good meal with family at White Oak or watch the game with friends.
Our new winter hours are Thursday 4–8pm, Friday & Saturday 11am–9pm, and Sunday 11am–4pm.
Holiday Gatherings
From corporate holiday parties to large family gatherings, we make the holidays a breeze at Ruttger’s. Because who needs more stress around the holidays?!
We’ll help you plan and organize your holiday party to meet your vision and needs, ensuring this year’s festivities are one to remember. Our beautiful event spaces are perfect for your guests to mix, mingle, and celebrate the holiday season.
Our new Lakeside Cottages are also ideal for family holiday gatherings. Enjoy five bedrooms, five and a half baths, a fireplace in the great room with views overlooking Bay Lake, bunk room for the kids, plenty of gathering space, and a huge gourmet kitchen, equipped with everything you need to prepare your favorite holiday dishes.
Winter Fun
Once we get a decent blanketing of snow, you’ll be able to head out on the snowmobile trails.
The popular Garrison Snowmobile Trails run right in front of the White Oak Grill at Ruttger’s, making it easy to jump on the trails for a ride and then return to warm up and refuel with lunch at the White Oak.
As soon as enough snow falls, our snowshoe trails open up along with our sledding hill, which all ages can enjoy.
