MEET THE ENTERTAINERS
Bruce Archer plays a rollicking combination of bluegrass and blues with a bit of folk/roots that doesn’t fit tidily into a single genre. His finger-picking and slide guitar display a level of talent and mastery that can only come from 40-plus years of sifting through musical styles and keeping the bits that resonate with him. Whether he’s performing an original song or a deep cover, he coaxes from his guitar an instrumental voice that is authentically his own.

JENNA & MARTIN
The Cosmic Western Duo of Jenna & Martin combine classic country sounds, bluegrass techniques, gospel harmonies, and rock rhythms to make their unique sounding music. The band formed in 2016 and soon after bought a short school bus to tour out of. The duo spent a year living in Peculiar, MO in their bus and recording their debut albums which can currently be found on all streaming platforms.
Both Jenna & Martin are multi-instrumentalists and their live show incorporates several different instruments including guitar, pedal steel, banjo, foot pedals and saxophone. The duo’s favorite type of show to play is at honky tonks where they take turns singing classic country songs and original music. But they also have a way of fitting into lots of different environments with their unique sounding music including churches, coffee shops, jazz restaurants, breweries, and more. The duo brings their vintage inspired Cosmic Western vibes wherever they go and deliver a high-spirited performance every time.

Another Ruttger’s institution. Jim is a guitar virtuoso who has performed at Ruttger’s for many, many years. His concerts are campfire sing-a-longs. He pulls from a long collection of classic campfire songs, traditional tunes and a mix of modern and classic rock and folk songs. Jim’s shows are fairly informal. Shout out a song and chances are pretty good if he’s heard of the song, he’ll be able to play it. Be prepared to sing along.
