Meet the Diffley family. A few years back when they were shopping for a cabin in the area, they discovered Ruttger’s. After falling in love with the comfortable, family friendly vibe of the resort, they decided life would be a whole lot less work if Ruttger’s became their cabin. The result is a lot of stress-free family time at Bay Lake.

A Love Affair with Bay Lake
In 1944, Heather Norton’s grandparents trekked to Ruttger’s from Kansas for summer vacation. It started a love affair with Bay Lake and a relationship with the Ruttger’s family that has stood the test of time. In fact, Heather recently fulfilled her life-long dream of retiring on the shores of Bay Lake.

They're Keepers
Over the 50 years they have fished at Ruttger’s, Jerry and Connie Lewandowski have named all their bass hot spots after their fishing buddies.
