Team Building Activities in Brainerd

Whether it’s high adventure, mellow lake-shore relaxation or somewhere in between, you’ll find the perfect team building event at Ruttger’s Bay Lake Resort.

Specially designed team building programs are available for your group on- and off-site. These activities can be scheduled for 15 minutes or four hours and can range from ice-breaker activities to complete team-building events.

On-site Team Building

Your group can benefit from a large variety of team building, ice-breaking and/or activities choreographed by you and our staff.

Group Games, Team Building, & Ice Breakers

All games and activities are fully customizable and available to fill a 20-minute introduction or a full day of productive fun. We offer both physical and intellectual options.

A variety of exercises can be prearranged for:

  • Building teams or welcoming new members to your team
  • Recognizing individual efforts and/or team accomplishments
  • Finding creative ways to work together to solve problems
  • Increasing and improving communication within peers
  • Healthy competition within the group
  • Just a good old-fashioned fun time together!

Ruttger’s Staff-Led Games & Activities

Our trained staff will facilitate many different social, ice-breaking and team-building activities and games.

Options include, but are not limited to:

  • Minute to Win it
  • Beach Olympics
  • Scavenger hunts
  • Many shorter classroom-style activities.

All are fully tailored to your needs and are a great way to build inter-personal relationships.

ENTERTAINMENT OPTIONS

A variety of magicians, musicians, comedians, motivational speakers and entertainers are available to come to Ruttger’s at the time and duration of your convenience.

Raptor, reptile and small animal presentations are unique activities that are also available. These shows are customizable for your group.

Marina, Sports, & Recreation Activities

A variety of marina options are available right here on Bay Lake. We have canoes, kayaks, jet skis, and pontoons to rent. Staff are available to drive at an additional fee.

There are two beautiful golf courses on property that may be utilized for tournaments and/or open play.

We can also organize unique activities such as yard games, volleyball tournaments or any creative ideas you may have!

Ropes Course

Our friends at nearby Clearwater Forest offers a system includes 12 elements on two levels and a zip line from the second level. Two hours long.

Canoe & Kayak Rentals

Ruttger's has canoe and kayak rentals on-site, please contact your planner for rates and availability.

Traveling Art Pub

Enjoy this 2.5 hour guided art instruction! Must be 16 years old or older. Available on select dates and by arrangement only.

This activity can be an on-site or off-site experience. Please contact your planner for rates and availability.

Bonfire and S’mores

Enjoy team bonding and meet other guests while relaxing around the campfire. Kick it up another notch by including live campfire music.

Pontoon Cruises

Relax and enjoy an evening cruise around beautiful Bay Lake. Explore the nearby islands, visit the eagle’s nest and get up close to loons. Add a bit more flavor with a Choose Your Brew Cruise or a coffee and hot chocolate cruise.

Corn Hole Tournament

Test your Corn Hole skills in the tournament. Make some friends and have some fun. May the best Corn Holer win!
