Welcome To Ruttger’s Bay Lake Lodge

From Our Family To Yours

The Ruttger family has been welcoming folks like you to the peaceful shores of Bay Lake for more than 120 years. Much has changed over the years, but the essence of Ruttger’s remains the same… The peace of a scenic lake shore sunset, time spent golfing, fishing and relaxing with the ones you love, a good meal, and the welcoming smile of an old friend. We welcome you and your family here to share in the warmth of our hearth and hearts because that’s the Ruttger’s Way. That’s how it has always been and always will be.

Our Ruttger’s “Cabin”

Meet the Diffley family. A few years back when they were shopping for a cabin in the area, they discovered Ruttger’s. After falling in love with the comfortable, family friendly vibe of the resort, they decided life would be a whole lot less work if Ruttger’s became their cabin. The result is a lot of stress-free family time at Bay Lake. They liked it so much, they even named their dog Ruby.

Ruttger’s Celebrity

Meet Frankie. She’s a bit of a celebrity here at Ruttger’s. It might be because of her infectious personality, or her abundant kindness. Or, it might be that she can sing like an angel and can often be found on stage with the band.

Unforgettable Family Memories

It’s often the simple things in life that are most important. This video, created by Becca Peterson about her family’s Ruttger’s vacation, reminds us that memories of the times we spend laughing, joking, playing, sharing a meal, relaxing and simply hanging out with family will last a lifetime.

The Lewandowskis

They’re Keepers

Over the 50 years they have fished at Ruttger’s, Jerry and Connie Lewandowski have named all their bass hot spots after their fishing buddies. They’ve caught more than their share, but the memories of good days on Bay Lake are the real trophies. “We’ve traveled all over the world and Ruttger’s is one of our favorite places to come home to.” – Connie and Gerry
