Ruttger’s provides that classic summer experience most of us daydream of while we’re warming up our cars for twenty minutes in below zero temperatures.
Beer and Bacon Bonanza
And what better way to start your summer than by joining us for our annual Beer and Bacon Bonanza! One of Ruttger’s favorite yearly traditions, you and the whole family can partake in the Beer & Bacon Mile Relay, Beer & Bacon Bingo, and enjoy great music with an outdoor concert. You can also show off your skills with our Giant Beer Pong! (Your friend’s cabin is likely lacking in giant beer pong.)
Plus, the adults can imbibe with our craft beer sampling and savor our delicious Beer & Bacon dinner. The dinner is complete with a reception, three delectable courses, and topped off with a mouthwatering dessert, all perfectly paired with specially selected beers for an unforgettable dining experience.
Fourth of July Fireworks
Of course, our Beer and Bacon Bonanza is only the beginning. Ruttger’s Fourth of July celebration is one the whole family will love! We set off a spectacular fireworks display at dusk and fill the weekend with tons of family-friendly activities. And while you don’t want to miss our big events, there’s plenty more to fill those precious sunny, warm summer days!
Bonfires
Each weekend relax with our bonfire and s’mores events. Nothing quite feels like summer more than cozying up by a bonfire on a cool night, sharing stories, and perfecting your marshmallow roasting technique. We’ve found that sometimes the simple and timeless experiences are the ones we most remember, especially for the kids! But, it also wouldn’t be a Minnesota summer without getting out on the water.
Fishing
Create even more memories with the family on beautiful Bay Lake. You can book our popular fishing trip with expert fishing guide Lynn who knows all the best spots to reel in the big ones.
Water Activities & Fitness
You can also learn to paddleboard, take out a kayak or canoe, or opt for more high-octane action and sign up for water tubing! And if holding on to a tube at high speeds isn’t enough exercise for you, you can head back to the resort for yoga or a fitness session.
Delicious Drinks
After a great workout, naturally, you can then treat yourself and attend one of our Wine Tastings or Craft Spirits Seminars, where you’ll taste a variety of delicious spirits distilled right here in the great state of Minnesota. They say it’s all about balance, right?!
