Introducing Devil’s Washboard Bavarian Märzen Beer
Brewed exclusively for Ruttger’s by our friends at Cuyuna Brewing Company
Devil’s Washboard beer will be available all summer long exclusively at the Bear Pine Bar & Grill, and Zig’s Restaurant & Bar. The beer is a German style Märzen, amber in color, and has a crisp flavor. The beer was brewed using German hops, though it’s more of a lager, making it very drinkable and refreshing.
The story behind the name
The name pays homage to the resort’s history. Devil’s Washboard is a small area near Placid Lake a few miles from Ruttger’s where the timbers were harvested that were used to build the lodge. Bavarian Märzen was chosen in keeping with the Ruttger’s German heritage.
